Welcome to Ryan’s Yak Farm — Where Family, Heart, and Hard Work Meet
Hi friends, I’m Cody Elizabeth Ryan, the heart behind Ryan’s Yak Farm in Oxford, New York.
What started as a small family dream has grown into something much bigger — a place where stories, animals, and community all come together on the same land that’s been in our family since 1906.
Here, we raise yaks, Kune Kune pigs, mini Highland cattle, goats, and more, each with their own personality and purpose. But more than animals, this farm is about people — the ones who visit, learn, laugh, and leave with muddy boots and full hearts.
Ryan’s Yak Farm has become a reflection of what I believe in:
✨ Hard work and heart.
🌻 Honesty in the process.
🐮 Respect for the land and animals.
🌸 The beauty of the perfectly imperfect.
Through this blog, I’ll be sharing:
- Behind-the-scenes glimpses of daily farm life (and chaos)
- Seasonal updates from the Yak Shack and farmstand
- Tips for aspiring FarmHers and small business owners
- Local collaborations, events, and community moments
- Recipes, stories, and reflections from our farm to your home
Whether you’ve been here since the beginning or are just finding us now, I’m so grateful you’re part of this journey.
Here’s to new beginnings, muddy boots, strong coffee, and chasing big dreams — one sunrise at a time.
Welcome home to Ryan’s Yak Farm. 💛
